Warm Home Discount Scheme

Good Energy isn’t part of the Warm Home Discount Scheme.

The scheme was introduced by the Government in 2010 in conjunction with the large energy suppliers to support elderly householders receiving benefits to heat their homes. Due to the significant cost of participating in the Warm Home scheme, only the larger players are able to afford this without significantly increasing the bills of their own customers. Therefore, energy suppliers with fewer than 250,000 customers, like Good Energy, are not obligated to take part.

Any customer is able to cancel their contract during the sign-up procedure, and we are happy to process this in order to support individuals who wish to switch to another supplier so that they are able to get the Warm Home discount.

The button below includes more information, and a list of energy suppliers who are part of the Warm Home Discount Scheme.

We recommend energy saving resources that can support all home owners to keep their homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
