For the second year running Good Energy has  made The Good Shopping Guide’s list of the World’s 10 most ethical brands.

We’re in great company, with pet food brand Lily’s Kitchen, Neal’s Yard skin care and the Charity Bank also ranking in the top 10.

It’s rounded off a great start for Good Energy in 2016. We’ve also received more recognition for great customer service and announced a reduction in our gas price – and been accredited as a living wage employer.

But it’s also an acknowledgement of our mission which is now 15 years old: to create a blueprint for combating climate change in the energy sector, and put people at the heart of the solution.

Top ten most ethical companies

The only supplier with electricity that’s always been 100% renewable

Not all of the companies that offer a renewable electricity tariff are as green as we are.

At Good Energy, we’ve only ever offered one electricity tariff – and it’s always been 100% renewable.

You can read more about our ‘fuel mix’ on our energy page and about the wind and solar sites that are helping fuel our 100% renewable promise.

We also buy our power from more than 1,000 local generators across the UK – people and businesses who have seen the possibility of wind, sun and rain to make clean electricity.

What makes our tariff ethical?

Offering a truly green tariff means going above and beyond when it comes to sustainability.

We’re proud to work with partners to make their businesses greener – like Bath Rugby, who save 500kg of CO2 at every large home game by having the Rec powered by us.

We’re looking to the future, too, by testing new ways of trading 100% renewable electricity and pioneering with crucial energy storage systems.

It’s easy and quick to be part of a greener future and switch to a more ethical energy supplier. Get a quote today.
