We're lowering our gas price by 7.2%!

That’s right, you heard us!

We’ll be dropping our Green Gas price from April 1st, which means new and existing dual fuel customers on our standard variable tariff will be able to save around £42 on an annual bill.

That's compared to the £32 average saving that ‘Big Six’ suppliers are offering through their gas-only price reductions.

Why are we cutting our gas prices?

As one of the UK’s most ethical companies of the last 25 years, we want to continue to have a fairly-priced tariff. This price drop reflects the falling price of wholesale gas over recent months.

This latest drop means our average dual fuel bill is the lowest it has been for at least the last three years, and our gas price is the lowest it’s ever been!

Existing customers will be contacted closer to April 1st when we’ll ask for a meter reading. The very next bill will reflect the new price.

A great start to the year for Good Energy

This news comes just one month after we achieved another impressive second place in the Which? energy company customer satisfaction survey, becoming the only energy company to receive a score of more than 81% for five years in a row.

We’ve also recently powered up our seventh solar site at Oaklands in Dorset, adding another sunny 5MW of renewable electricity to our diverse fuel mix.

Be part of the global shift to a cleaner, greener future: switch to Good Energy today and cut your carbon footprint by up to 24%.
